Pierrot is run by decorative artist Tess Newall. She began painting chairs for her own children, and by word-of-mouth her order list grew! She now leads a small team of fine artists handpainting her designs from her studio in Sussex, England.

Our chairs have a theatrical yet classic feel, inspired by times gone by. We hope they become a place for stories and imaginations to travel to, for dens to be built around, and a treasure for generations to cherish.
